It's been a while

So, it's been a while since the last time I used my Deviant Art account. And I must say I'm kinda impressed that people are still adding my Alucard cosplay to their favourites and commenting on it and everything. I just wanna say thanks for the love, guys. XD And I hope I'm not sounding like some kind of celebrity wannabe... Anyway, I sorta miss making cosplays actually. I remembered that I like the excitement you feel when you put the costume on and see yourself as one of your favourite character. And also the excitement people feel when they see you; and what you feel when you see another of your favourite characters walking around in the convention. People may say it's too much of a geeky thing to cosplay, but I still think it's something magical and extremely fun. I remember how anime conventions used to look like a dream world to me, where everyone was nice and looked awesome even with the crappiest costumes. XD I stopped going to conventions when they started to become too big and people started to become strangely serious about it. Like, come on guys, this is supposed to be just good fun; I don't get those people being all Joan Rivers (do you watch Fashion Police? 8D) with cosplayers, as if they had some sort of obligation to spend lots of money and take good pictures. Do people still do that nowadays? I've been away from the scene for the past five years or so.
